Virtual Clinic

The first award winner was a proposal from Ian Sheeler and Jerome di Pietro and their colleagues in St George’s and Kingston to develop a Virtual Clinic for use in the BSc in Biomedical Informatics and the FD in Health Informatics. The Virtual Clinic concept was an interactive visual representation of a typical GP surgery providing an innovative exploratory environment for teaching and learning.

Continuation of this project awaits conclusion of a review of the Biomedical Informatics programme and determination of its future direction. Further updates will be provided in due course.
