The Chair and Director of IBLS is George Dickson, Professor of Molecular Biology at Royal Holloway. George has spent most of his career studying neuromuscular disease and muscle cell biology. Before taking up the post of Director of IBLS, he was Head of the School of Biological Sciences and Director of Research at Royal Holloway, University of London.
