- Morag Faulds Memorial Lecture, “Using Critical Reflection to Understand Practice”, University of Western Scotland (June 22, 2009)
- Keynote Address: “Practice Research: What does it mean and is it a relevant concept?” Ist annual Nordic HUSK conference, Oslo College, Oslo, (June 15, 2009).
USK is a Norwegian national level partnership between government (social services), universities/colleges (researchers) and service users to collaborate on research to improve social work practice and service delivery. Prof. Fook is employed as a consultant to assist in developing concepts of practice research. Partnerships similar to HUSK have been developed in most of the Nordic countries.
